Technical Writer (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: 400
As a Technical Writer you will:
-
Have experience of infrastructure used as a platform for a range of applications.

Have experience as a Technical Author and produced documentation for at least one complex and significant system.

Have proven ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into simple, accessible content.
-
Be able to explain complex, technical ideas in a way the target audience of technical and non-technical people can understand.

Have produced structured documentation and be able to explain why a certain structure was chosen.
-
Have worked in an agile environment and like to work in a dynamic environment.
-
Champion good documentation but be able to be pragmatic when required
Strong opinions, loosely held.

Be genuinely interested in making technology accessible.
Knowledge/experience
You will need:

Experience of creating documentation for infrastructure

Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure offering
-
Experience from documenting software APIs
-
Understanding of open source software and approach to documentation
