Location: Sunbury-On-Thames Country: UK Rate: £80k - £95k per annum
 

Senior DevOps Engineer - Data Platform - Linux, Kubernetes, Puppet, Python

Oliver Bernard are currently working with a fast-growing Data Platform company, based in Surrey, who are seeking a strong and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their DevOps team as part of plans to scale their infrastructure and drive Platform/DevOps best practices.

As part of the Managed Services side of the business, focused around Big Data analytics, the responsibilities in this role will vary from Linux System Administration, to scaling Containerised environments, Automating applications with Puppet, alongside a wealth of work across Scripting, Security and Support.

For this opening, the following expertise is required:

  • Strong Linux Administration skills
  • Previous Automation experience with Puppet
  • Containerisation/Orchestration with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
  • Previous work across CI/CD pipelines (ideally with Git)
  • Wealth of Monitoring and Observability experience
  • Knowledge of Security/DevSecOps practices

This position can offer £80-95K, plus benefits, and operates a flexible working model (with office days only required on a monthly basis).
