Project Manager (PMO) - Pharma (Contract)

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Country: UK Rate: c£400 per day (via Umbrella)
 

The Opportunity:

You will be joining a global pharmaceutical company to support the Senior Project Management team with key stakeholders located in both the UK and the USA.

The successful candidate will be operating amongst a tight-knit team where teamwork is key to their success.

Skills and Experience:

Project Management (75%)

  • Strong technical ability with Project Management tools such as MS Project, PRINCE2 and SharePoint
  • Support the Senior PMs (based in the US and UK) with organising meetings, taking meeting notes, updating the RAID log, maintaining the program area and program communications as required
  • Risk management and change management experience required in a regulated environment

PMO (25%)

  • Minimum of 5 years PM experience in a regulated environment (ideally from within a Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or healthcare-focused business)
  • Advanced level MS Office skills (in particular Excel, Teams, Word)
  • Ability to work independently without micro-management as and when required
  • Excellent organisational skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
