Senior Network Engineer/Architect (Contract)
Location: Remote - with occasional office visits  Country: UK Rate: £775 per day (Umbrella rate)
 

Whitebridge Group, the specialist Digital Transformation consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer or Architect with in-depth expertise supporting the adoption of hybrid cloud as a platform, defining standards, providing service design and enhancements to improve automation and efficiency.

Required experience

  • Experienced network engineer or architect qualified to CCIE level or equivalent.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Routing and Switching
  • Experience of WAN circuits and solutions (ie MPLS and VPN's)
  • Exposure to Zero Trust Network Architecture, SASE concepts and implementation spanning solutions such as Cato Networks, Cloudflare, Zscaler
  • Knowledge of working with Firewalling technologies (Checkpoint, Fortinet or CISCO)
  • Knowledge of Application Delivery Controllers (eg F5, Citrix)
  • Network programmability and frameworks (Ansible/Python)
  • Experience of Public Cloud solutions (AWS/Azure)
  • Proficient level knowledge of networking design and documentation (HLD/LLD)

You should be able to commit to starting ASAP. The role for the foreseeable future will be mostly home based with occasional visits to either Reading or Havant. This will be umbrella working. Direct applicants only please.
