User Researcher (Remote) - Contract (INSIDE OF IR35) (Contract)

Location: Remote  Country: UK Rate: £550pd (Inside Of IR35)
 

Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for a User Researcher on a 6 months contract.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct user research activities, including but not limited to interviews, usability testing, and surveys, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to integrate user research findings into the design and development process.
  3. Plan and execute usability studies, ensuring alignment with GDS standards and best practices.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define research goals, create research plans, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
  5. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of user personas, user journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts.
  6. Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in user research and incorporate best practices into our processes.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a User Researcher, preferably with a focus on GDS projects.
  2. Strong understanding of GDS service standards and the ability to apply them in research activities.
  3. Proficiency in planning, conducting, and analysing various user research methods.
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and present research findings to diverse audiences.
  5. Experience working in an agile development environment.
  6. Familiarity with tools such as UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, or similar user research platforms.
