SAP FICO Project Manager (Contract/Permanent)
Location: Reading, United Kingdom Country: UK
- Desirable Experience on AMS projects and is aware of the Service processes of AMS - Incident Mgt., Service Request Mgt., Problem Mgt., SLM
- SAP FI Configuration experience in the following: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Consolidation, Funds Mgt., Special Purpose Ledger. CO configuration: Product costing, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Activity Based Costing
- Knowledge in New-G/L, understand the integration points between New G/L and FI-AR
- Strong Hands on Experience in Integration FI-SD/FI-MM
- Experience in COPA is desirable
- Experience in Material Ledger is advantage
- Provide support to the business user community on SAP FICO for production support tickets, enhancement, projects in ECC and user training issues, as Subject Matter Expert.
- HANDS-ON role - execute FICO configuration, functional documentation, testing plans and results, system documentation and training materials.
- Responsible for integration with cross functional module like Material Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Collaborating with and communicating to different stakeholders in order to define/align business requirements from different operating companies.
- Ensuring configuration, developments, testing and trainings are according to high quality standard and in line with management expectations.
- Achieves dedicated objectives and deliverables according to project plan. Is a subject matter expert analysing financial business processes and performs frequently new and varied work that involves a high degree of complexity.
- Provide the resolution for critical and emergency/urgent issues relating to various modules of finance including but not limited to New GL, AP, AR, FA, CCA, PCA.
- Working with technical team to design the solution and writing the functional specifications to meet the business requirements.
- Good communication and client engagement skills
- Good Knowledge in programming languages such as ABAP is an advantage.
- Experience in SAP implementation projects following both waterfall and Agile model
- Should have worked as an Onsite SPOC for an AMS programme
- SAP S/4HANA knowledge is an advantage
