Hardware Engineer (Permanent)

Role details:

We're working with a growing Technology Consultancy who provide advice and software/hardware implementation services to UK Government clients. Their principal area of expertise is in Digital Signal Processing relating to radio communication systems and associated equipment.

They are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer to design PCBs or implement processing solutions in FPGAs, working on variety of designs ranging from low-power Microcontroller designs to high-rate network processing solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience of complex PCB design or FPGA development in VHDL
  • Embedded software development experience in C/C++
  • Good undergraduate degree or a PhD in a numerate discipline
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills
