Power BI Developer (Contract)
Location: City of London, Greater London, England Country: UK Rate: £350 - 420 per day
 

Power BI Developer - £350-£420 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working at a site in London or Ipswich -contract until 31/12/2024.

My client, the UK's largest producer of ZERO CARBON energy is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join them on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX & M (Power Query), and possess strong data analytics and data science capabilities. They will play a crucial role in designing and refining systems, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and ensuring smooth operation within my clients processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX & M (Power Query), to develop comprehensive reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and refine system processes.
  • Configure and develop SharePoint sites.
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft Azure (SQL) databases.
  • Configure and develop Tableau reports and dashboards.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis.
  • Ensure system administration tasks are executed efficiently.
  • Interface with peers in a multicultural environment.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX & M (Power Query).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong data analytics and data science capabilities.
  • Relevant system administration certification.
  • Experience with SharePoint configuration and development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (SQL) development.
  • Experience with Tableau configuration and development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a large corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment is advantageous.
