Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineer (Contract)
Location: Corsham Country: UK Rate: £650 - £750 per day

Length: 6 months

Rate: up to £750 outside IR35

Experis are currently on the lookout for a Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineer for one of our Aerospace and Defence clients.

This role will require SC Clearance

The Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineering Team Lead Service will support the technical team responsible for the low level design, development, documentation, building and validation of the core virtual estate

Technical experience

  • VMware VCF 4/5
  • VMware ESXi
  • VMware vSAN
  • VMware vCenter
  • VMware NSX
  • VMware Horizon
  • At least one professional Virtualisation certification that has been obtained within the last five years, ie VMware VCP (VMware Certified Professional) or similar.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and propose new ideas.
  • Hold a valid Security Clearance (SC).
  • Competency in MS Office Suite.
  • Reasonable understanding of networking principles and technologies
  • Broad understanding of supporting Wintel/Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, PKI, etc.
