Contract - Defender for Endpoint SME - London/Edinburgh/Remote - 6 months - Outside IR35

Gibbs Hybrid requires an experienced and dynamic Defender for Endpoint SME who has worked with/implemented Defender before and will be able to come in, review the company's configuration and help tune/optimise it to ensure that we are getting the maximum benefit from the tool.

* Location: London/Edinburgh/Remote
* Job type: Contract
* Duration: 6 months initial - Outside IR35

* Strong knowledge of the deployment and management of MS Defender for Endpoint on windows and Linux OS, particularly on Servers running Legacy OS.
* Experience of tailoring the Defender configuration settings and automated deployment using Ansible, GPO & Intune
* Experience in troubleshooting defender installation and working with IT teams and MS support to resolve.
* Ability to propose methods and solution to automate tasks around deployment, troubleshooting, managing MI on the pool of agents, on a day to day basis, leveraging automation as much as possible.

They will be needed to:

* Be responsible for setting up & day to day management of the EPP/EDR service of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
* Build the necessary operating processes, to help ensure management of the estate of endpoint agents.
* Creating the processes and tools to support investigation and troubleshooting of agent health, creating tailored deployments by target technology, particularly around Servers running Legacy versions of OS.
