Location: Worcester, Worcestershire, England Country: UK Rate: £200 per day
 

IT Field Engineer - £200/day Outside IR35 - 2-month Contract - Worcester (SCC FLEX CONTRACT)

We are seeking a skilled IT Field Engineer to join our client's team to provide 1/2nd Line Deskside Support, hardware deployment, installation, move, and configuration. Willingness to travel and driving license are necessary for this role.

Your responsibilities as the IT Field Engineer:

  • Provide 1/2nd Line Deskside Support for end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Deploy hardware including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices according to project requirements.
  • Conduct installation, move, and configuration work for various equipment such as access points, workstations, etc.
  • Work independently and unsupervised, managing your workload and priorities effectively.
  • Travel to various locations.
  • Have a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to different locations for onsite support.

As the perfect IT Field Engineer, you will have:

  • Proven experience in providing IT support, including deskside support and hardware deployment.
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised, managing time and tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
