Infrastructure Engineer - Terraform (Contract)
Location: England Country: UK Rate: £500 - £550 per day

Location: Remote

Length: 3 months

Rate: 500 - 550 per day OUTSIDE IR35

This role is varied, so there is often no 'typical day'.

Here is a list of the key areas you will get involved with as an Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles to automate and streamline infrastructure provisioning and management processes.
  • Developing and maintaining Terraform configurations for various infrastructure components.
  • Writing PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and streamline operations.
  • Managing version control using GitHub for infrastructure code and configurations.
  • Implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions in Azure cloud environment.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer
  • Advanced hands-on experience in terraform
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) concepts and tools
  • Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for automation and task execution.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
  • Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and infrastructure components.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, particularly Python, for automation and Scripting tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
