Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: 495/day
 

Business Analyst

Based in Canary Wharf (2 days in the office - 3 days remote) a Business Analyst is required on a 6-month contract.

Candidates can work through a Limited Company for this role.

This role will offer the opportunity for a long-term contract and an excellent working environment including leading-edge office facilities systems and processes.

You will be working with internal product teams, across one of the key strategic application modernisation projects. This is being developed using Agile software delivery and DevOps ways of working. The platform is based on Azure with the application stack based on Java and Micro Services technologies together with commercially available off-the-shelf software products as appropriate.
You will also need to ensure business requirements are met using a range of agile techniques and knowledge of software development underpinned with knowledge of IT platforms.

This is a "hands on" BA role which involves requirements Gathering/Management through stakeholder workshop facilitation, questionnaires and interviews. Root cause analysis for complex cross functional issues impacting process and or product changes across business operations and supply chain functions.

Candidates need to be an expert in Agile methodologies including UML Domain Modelling, Process Mapping, Use Case analysis, Features/Epics/User Stories (and their structure, mapping and dependencies), Behaviour Driven Development (given, when, then scenarios and acceptance criteria) and have extensive experience (at least 5 years) in Business Analysis architecture and techniques such as business domain model, process and capability maps aligned to the operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Any experience with big data, data services or data-driven products and services would be highly desirable.

Candidates must also have strong communication skills and relationship building capability as you will be required to collaborate with a range of stakeholders.
