AWS Devops Engineer (SC Cleared) (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £200 - £350 per day
The roles are required to build fit-for-purpose AWS environments to ensure BAU teams have the ability to develop and test in a secure environment.
*A SECURITY CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE IS A MUST TO HAVE*
Must have hands on, proven experience in developing DevOps/operational practices on AWS. Should be comfortable working with Terraform, with certification preferable.
Skills Required.
- Experience with AWS ECS. EKS, EC2
- Experience using infrastructure as code with Terraform/Ansible
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions
- Experience deploying containerised applications
- Experience of API Gateways, such as Kong
- Understanding of PKI and certificates/mTLS
- Experience writing deployment run books for staging and live deployments
Nice to haves
- Experience with AWS serverless components, eg Lamdas
- Experience using WAFs, such as NGINX
- Authentication and Authorisation for microservices/microfrontends
- Scripting in Python/bash/Shell
