Experienced Data Engineer/Data Warehouse Developer, is sought for this dynamic, finance org with a £4m+ turnover, over 700k external customers & c1400 staff; who, are continually investing in their IT services including leading edge, data warehouse solutions using the latest technologies.
The Data Engineer will be key to the product team, building and further enhancing BI/MI solutions to facilitate data analytics & insight that is vital for the ongoing success of the business.
You will have a proven track record of delivering Data Warehouse solutions (primarily Oracle based), using PL/SQL and the development & tuning of ETL/ELT and data integration solutions using popular tools ideally ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) however, proven experience in Informatica, or similar & a willingness to cross train will be considered too.
Experience with Star schema & Dimensional modelling is highly advantageous as well as experience in Python, Spark, Snowflake & or JSON.
Also advantageous is an understanding of AWS services, Kafka &/or Google Analytics however, training is available.

The team are predominantly based from smart, modern offices in based in North Bristol (BS16); plus some home working (2 days a week).
