.NET Developer
Our client is looking for highly skilled .NET Developer to join their Basingstoke based team for a 6 months initial contract.
Role Responsibilities:
* Participate in the design, development, and unit testing of Investment Operations architecture, including MVC/Blazor user interfaces, .NET CORE REST APIs, and .NET Framework WCF & 1st generation SOAP web services.
* Translate business concepts into design and implementation of business solutions.
* Engage with colleagues to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Provide support for developed applications in BAU (Business as Usual) scenarios.
Job Profile:
Skills and Experience:
* Proven coding experience in C#.
* Experience in application life cycle management phases.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Experience in financial services, preferably with knowledge of Insurance and Investment products.
Key Technical Skills:
* Language: C#
* Frameworks: .NET Framework/.NET CORE/Entity Framework
* Web: REST API/MVC/Blazor/JavaScript
* Source Control: TFS/Azure DevOps
* Database: SQL Server 2012 or above/TSQL
Useful Secondary Technical Skills:
* SSRS
* SSIS
* PowerShell
