Quality Operations Project Coordinators - Localization (Contract)
Location: England, United Kingdom Country: UK Rate: £307 per day via PAYE inclusive of holidays etc
We are working with a leading Tech Leader in urgent search of highly proficient Quality Operations Project Coordinators, adept in facilitating cross-vendor communications within localization environments. These are fantastic opportunities to grow your CV & professional experience!
While we prefer candidates who can commence the project promptly, we understand and can accommodate a reasonable notice period of up to four weeks.
Start Date: Immediate Availability - (Maximum 4-week Notice Period)
Contract Length: Initial 12 Months PAYE with Extensions
Location: UK, REMOTE - no visa sponsorship offered
Compensation: £307 per day via PAYE inclusive of holidays etc
Responsibilities:
Facilitate and engage with vendor quality stakeholders.
Supervise and support quality initiatives at the vendor level in cross-vendor engagements.
Monitor cross-vendor communications for adherence to guidelines and provide support as necessary.
Assist in the recruitment, testing, onboarding, and training of LQA specialists.
Manage various quality operations and processes, including:
Translation feedback management: Handle requests, relay feedback to vendors, and communicate responses back to stakeholders.
Maintain linguistic assets: Oversee terminology updates for specific locales, from scoping to task hand-offs and hand-backs, and support Style Guide maintenance.
LQA task management: Oversee task hand-offs, implement LQA feedback tasks, manage arbitration flows, and aid in root cause analyses, adhering to different LQA schedules.
Oversee and prioritize a queue for general vendor linguists' inquiries and requirements.
Generate internal and external quality reports, ensuring the accuracy of internal trackers and sharing quality data with stakeholders as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in localization project or quality management, preferably within vendor operations.
BA/BS in translation, linguistics, or equivalent field.
Proficiency in localization platforms, file formats, CAT tools, and translation management systems (eg, SDL Trados Studio, Idiom WorldServer, etc).
Clear and efficient communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
Ability to thrive under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Proactive, positive mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to best practices in localization quality management.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
Previous experience in cross-vendor communications within localization environments.
Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Virtual Reality products and content.
Proficiency in languages other than English.
