AWS Architect (TV/Media/VoD) - £600pd Outside IR35 - Remote (Contract)
Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £600 per day
AWS Technical Architect (TV/Media/VoD) - £600pd Outside IR35 - Fully Remote
My media cloud services provider works with some of the leading names in the industry and is looking for an AWS Technical Architect to join them on an initial 3 month contract (with a view to then moving onto a 6 month rolling contract)
Working with their internal development team as well as external customer product owners and stakeholders, you will design and deliver cloud-based software solutions to their media sector customers
You will possess a demonstrable understanding of:
- The Media Supply Chain
- Scheduling systems, Play-Out, VoD preparation etc
Further Required Experience:
- In-depth understanding of modern cloud infrastructure
- Competency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python
- Databases: NoSQL and RDBMS
- Compute: AWS Lambda, containers and orchestration (EC2, Fargate, Kubernetes etc.)
- Messaging/integration: SQS, SNS, EventBridge etc.
- Storage: S3, EBS, EFS etc.
- An understanding of event-driven architecture
Any knowledge of AWS Media Services (MediaConvert, MediaConnect, MediaLive etc) is beneficial as is an AWS certification
