QA Java -Test Automation Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland Country: UK
Test Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Write functional testing, load/capacity testing, performance testing, resiliency testing.
Convert manual test cases into reliable, repeatable automated tests.
Execute tests, monitor, and present results.
Identify defects found during test execution and prioritise resolutions.
Test case task creation and documentation in ADO work items.
Concisely able to write and maintain technical documentation.

Operating in an agile and multi-tasking environment.
Technical Skills:
Java cucumber knowledge.
Angular E2E testing/Selenium testing.
Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques for web apps.
Proficient working with source code repositories (Azure and/or GIT).
Excellent understanding of Object Orientated programming and Scripting.
Understanding of API Services (SOAP, REST, Graph).
Familiarity in Java EE
- with OpenJDK
- with Spring 4.0+ Framework
- with Spring Boot/Wildfly web Servers (or similar)
- with Angular 14+
