Junior Field Engineer -IT/Networks (Enhanced DBS) (Contract)

We're looking for an eager Junior Field Engineer with some IT know how to join us on a contract basis, with potential for extension.

About the Role:

As a Junior Engineer, you'll work independently or alongside our Lead Engineer on various technical tasks, including:

  • Installing network and Point of Sale (PoS) equipment.
  • Executing data cabling projects.
  • Setting up VoIP systems.
  • Handling desktop installations and moves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently install and configure IT and network systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during installation.
  • Ensure all work meets high standards and is completed within scheduled timeframes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-on installation skills.
  • Some IT and networking experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and practical thinking.
  • Must have a valid driving license and access to a car.

Contract Details:

  • Flexible working hours, typically 2-3 days per week.
  • Work will primarily occur during mornings, afternoons, or evenings, as per client needs.
  • This is an Outside IR35 contract, providing flexibility in managing your tax and National Insurance contributions.
