We're looking for an eager Junior Field Engineer with some IT know how to join us on a contract basis, with potential for extension.
About the Role:
As a Junior Engineer, you'll work independently or alongside our Lead Engineer on various technical tasks, including:
- Installing network and Point of Sale (PoS) equipment.
- Executing data cabling projects.
- Setting up VoIP systems.
- Handling desktop installations and moves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently install and configure IT and network systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during installation.
- Ensure all work meets high standards and is completed within scheduled timeframes.
Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on installation skills.
- Some IT and networking experience preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and practical thinking.
- Must have a valid driving license and access to a car.
Contract Details:
- Flexible working hours, typically 2-3 days per week.
- Work will primarily occur during mornings, afternoons, or evenings, as per client needs.
- This is an Outside IR35 contract, providing flexibility in managing your tax and National Insurance contributions.
