SAP EWM Consultant - 500-750/per day Europe (Remote) - Duration 6 months+

The role will likely be for an initial 6 months- however the consultant ideally will stay on for an extended period of up to 3/4 years on a rolling basis.

The role will be for a boutique SAP specific consultancy- focused solely on warehousing and logistics within SAP. You will work alongside a team of up to 30 EWM experts.

A permanent placement is also an option.

Responsibilities:

1. Consultancy: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on SAP EWM solutions, leveraging deep understanding of industry best practices and business processes.
2. Solution Design: Lead the design and configuration of SAP EWM solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
3. Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end implementation process, including system setup, data migration, testing, and deployment, while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
4. Customization: Customize SAP EWM functionalities as needed to address unique client requirements, utilizing ABAP programming and other tools.
5. Integration: Collaborate with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD, PP) and external systems to ensure seamless integration with SAP EWM, optimizing overall supply chain processes.
6. Training and Support: Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance.
7. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals to support knowledge transfer and future reference.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of SAP EWM updates and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.

Requirements:

1. Extensive Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
2. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure, inbound/outbound processes, RF framework, and integration with other SAP modules.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
4. Team Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving towards common goals.
5. Certifications: SAP certifications in EWM and relevant modules are preferred.
6. Second Language is a bonus.
7. Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites as needed for project engagements.
