Waterloo (2-3 Days per week)

£450 PD (Outside IR35)

Digital Skills are pleased to be partnered up with a leading tech company who provide digital solutions across the healthcare industry.

To support this requirement, we're seeking a Contract SAP Business Objects Developer to support data migrations from SAP 4.2 to 4.3 using ETL methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SAP BO tools to design, develop, and implement data migration solutions from SAP 4.2 to 4.3.
  • Collaborate with teams involved in the data migration process to gather requirements.
  • Design and develop ETL workflows and data integration solutions to ensure seamless migration.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Write clear documentation for data migration processes, including technical specifications, data mappings, and system configurations.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of data migration processes to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for data migration activities during & after the implementation phase.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in SAP Business Objects development and data migration methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an SAP Business Objects Developer, with a focus on data migration projects.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools, particularly in the context of SAP data migrations.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving & communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Business Objects technologies: Including SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP Information Steward, & SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
