PMO Specialist (Aviation) (Contract)

PMO Specialist -

Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey within a thriving travel technology client working with Airports and airlines? We're searching for a dynamic PMO Specialist to be a key player in an expanding team, supporting the delivery of ground breaking projects.

Key Details:

- Rate: £350 per day inside IR35

- Location: Hybrid working, with 2-3 days onsite at Heathrow

- Duration: 12 months

- Start Date: ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Project Management Excellence: Develop and maintain project plans, manage Actions, Risks, Issues, and Decisions log.

- Progress Reporting: Report progress, highlight key achievements, and escalate issues when needed.

- Metrics Development: Create leading metrics to anticipate problems and implement action plans for resolution.

- Budget Control: Manage budget for R&D, report deviations, and provide mitigation strategies.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface between R&D, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless processes.

- Documentation Mastery: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and generate regular reports.

- Continuous Improvement: Participate in Tooling communities of practice, identify opportunities for process improvement within the PMO and the broader program.

Requirements:

- Experience: 5+ years in a PMO or project coordination role in software development.

-Skills: Familiarity with SaFe and Agile methodologies, proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana), and experience with collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack).
