On behalf of a Leading financial services organisation, I am looking for a highly experienced ePMO Specialist to join their team.
The project portfolio is supported by the ePMO which is a controlling function that supports portfolio governance, portfolio performance reporting, escalation and oversees, to process and standards compliance of the individual projects.
This role will support on a selection of high priority, highly critical, strategic projects for the firm, many of which are in-flight, to ensure successful execution within appropriate control mind-set. This role will have a strong focus on partnering with the Project Manager and helping the Project Board and management team navigate the linkages across major projects and foundational technology initiatives.
Due to the organisation operating a hybrid work model, you will need to be within commuting distance of their Docklands, London offices and able to commit to 2 days per week in office.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong, demonstrable and relevant practical experience of working within a Portfolio Office and/or as a Project Manager, covering the end-to-end project life cycle within a structured framework
- Relevant experience gained within financial services (preference banking) is essential
- Hands-on experience of working in multi-disciplined and cross functional teams - with both an IT and business project focus
- Experience in solutions planning, project management methodologies, and performance metrics
- Experience in identifying and appropriately managing project-related risk
- Understanding of Executive level requirements and anticipating where possible
- Proven track record of implementing and influencing cultural change across an organisation by winning the hearts and minds of stakeholders.
