A Data Management Analyst is required by our large Government client to work alongside the Data Lead by working with suppliers, functional stakeholders, analysts and other key stakeholders across the organisation to implement a new centralised Data Services function that initially supports HR, Finance and Commercial data

The role will include implementing new processes across all aspects of data management that will introduce a more trusted set of data that will enable data driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management (DM) - designing and implementing DM principles and practices and identifying opportunities for improved solutions to meet the clients needs. They will bring knowledge of challenges within the ERP data scope and seek to understand specific challenges from which they can ensure they can model and recommend solutions that best meet the organisations needs.
• Master Data Management (MDM)- implement new MDM processes that support the accurate maintenance of a number of critical data objects that embed appropriate controls, maintain standards and creates trust from which decisions can be made. This will involve creating a number of artefacts to support the transition to new ways of working
• Data Quality (DQ) - implementing DQ processes and tools that can analyse large volumes of data against data standards and KPIs and create reporting solutions that provide appropriate insight to the right people. They will need to create innovative approaches for successful remediation to manage isuses, collaborating with other stakeholders to agree roles and responsibilities.
• Data Governance (DG) - Support the creation of DG processes and ways of working that will embed a culture and standards that support the overall data strategy. Make recommendations for data standards and collaborate with policy owners to ensure alignment.

Key Experience:

• This is a specialist role and will require applicants to have proven experience of data management within a Back Office function and will require Oracle EBS/Cloud experience.
• Experience with implementing and managing BAU operations of best-in-practice ERP platforms eg Oracle
• Must clearly demonstrate how and where you have implemented Master Data Management processes
• Extensive experience of reporting & analytics experience in enterprise-wide or Shared Services operations; Public Sector is beneficial
• Experience with managing master data objects within Finance, Commercial and HR and their associated requirements within the data life cycle, processes, changes, workflows and approvals, including legal, statutory and regulatory requirements
• Experience in driving delivery and complying with data governance and management SLAs
• Experience in developing and managing analytics strategy development through customer centricity
