Senior Devops Consultant (DV Cleared) (Contract)
Location: Bristol/Hampshire Country: UK Rate: £630.00 per day inside IR35
 

Senior DevOps Consultant (Must have a current DV Clearance)

Duration: Initially 6 months, likely to extend beyond a year

Location: Onsite in Hampshire or Bristol, 5 days a week

Start Date: June 2024

Rate: £630.00 per day inside IR35

Clearance Requirement: Active DV level clearance required

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior DevOps Consultant with current, valid DV level clearance to join our client's managed service team in collaboration with one of their partners. The successful candidate will support a government account, working on-site Full time in either Hampshire or Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines using Azure or AWS
  • Utilize automation tools such as VMware, vRealize, or similar for efficient deployment processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices
  • Provide expertise in optimizing and enhancing DevOps workflows for maximum efficiency and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in DevOps practices and methodologies
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms either Azure or AWS
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like VMware, vRealize, or similar
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Active DV level clearance is mandatory
