Senior Application Support Engineer

Location: Wokingham

Salary: Up to £95,000

Working Pattern: The role will require you onsite once a week at their head office.

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Application Support Engineer, your duties include:

  • Providing software application support under the guidance of the Senior Engineer.
  • Analyzing software application functionality and suggesting enhancements.
  • Ensuring optimal Front End and Back End functionality.
  • Collaborating with teams to enhance application performance.
  • Managing code migration and scheduling updates.
  • Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Offering Front End support to clients and colleagues.

Requirements:
Ideal candidates have:

  • Experience in application support.
  • Proficiency in code migration, documentation, and performance monitoring.
  • Advanced skills in diagnosing and resolving errors.
  • Expertise in Java 11+, Docker, Spring Framework, AWS.
  • Familiarity with Linux (Mac OS), IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Confluence, Jira.
