Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of precision-engineered gaskets, washers, seals, and other non-metallic materials. As they expand and evolve, they are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to uphold their standards of excellence and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to support all aspects of quality assurance and control within the manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in quality management. The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and systems to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products to our customers while supporting our business objectives.

Duties

- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

- Support the establishment and maintenance of quality objectives and metrics to optimise manufacturing processes and enhance product quality (ISO 9001).

- Participate in routine inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, providing relevant data and insights to senior management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and contribute to corrective actions, actively participating in problem-solving efforts and process improvements.

- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability, providing operational support as needed.

- Support customer interactions related to quality enhancement and issue resolution under the guidance of senior quality personnel.

- Contribute to "Cost of Quality" initiatives and projects aimed at reducing expenses associated with quality deficiencies.
