Our client, a leading and global consultancy are looking to hire an experienced Senior Cloud Security Architect (API Security, Reference Architecture)to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Security Architecture Consultant will:

• You MUST have experience of creating REFERENCE ARCHITECTURE - You will create a set of baseline security reference architectures and other security architecture artefacts as required (eg, design patterns, specifications, security baselines, secure builds).
• Support the initiatives to codify the approved security patterns and reference architectures using IaC, verify their deployment via automation, and define and embed a post deployment architectural review process.
• Support the definition of the IoT Monitoring Framework and IoT Security Pattern.

In order to be a good match for this contract you will have experience of the following:

Required Skills and Experience - Technical

• Candidates must have extensive experience and a detailed understanding of cloud security architectures and enterprise security architecture principles.
• Excellent technical writing skills. Proficient in developing and implementing security reference architectures and security patterns.
• 5+ years of relevant experience working in a large-scale complex Enterprise IT environment.
• A background in security architecture with experience of architecting, building, and supporting transformational enterprise-wide cloud security projects.
• In depth knowledge of API security, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, mobile application architectures, and serverless workloads.
• Detailed understanding of security frameworks and their practical application in mitigating risks (eg, NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks).
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms. Experience of using Azure Policy or AWS Config to define security rules.
