Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure platform engineering and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. As a key member of our team, you will lead the DevOps development team, driving the adoption of best practices and ensuring efficient deployment through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the DevOps development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
* Utilize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment of Azure resources, ensuring proper linting, modularity, error handling, logging, and package/module dependency management.
* Collaborate closely with clients to understand project and strategy plans, providing expertise and recommendations on Azure infrastructure design and implementation.
* Implement and enforce best practices for Git usage within Azure DevOps Repos, including code review, merging, and testing.
* Work in an agile methodology, actively participating in code reviews during pull requests and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provision and manage service principals, Azure role-based access controls (RBAC), and identities to ensure secure access and governance.
* Develop CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform, PowerShell, ARM templates, JSON, and YAML to deploy infrastructure as code.
* Deploy and configure Azure services including Policies, Networking, Monitoring, Firewall, VPN, private DNS, and other PaaS/IaaS offerings using Azure DevOps CI/CD YAML Scripting.
* Implement continuous integration/deployment tools and practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
* Provide expertise on Azure infrastructure best practices and security compliance, advising on options analysis and recommending approaches as needed.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of large-scale live services.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in Azure platform engineering, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
* Experience leading a DevOps development team, driving best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell Scripting, and code editors such as Visual Studio Code.
* Familiarity with open-source Terraform modules and best practices for code review, merging, and testing.
* Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards, with experience implementing secure Azure environments.
* Experience in the energy sector domain is a bonus.
* Ability to adapt, change, and grow quickly in a fast-paced environment as we scale the organization.
