Immediate contract for an Enterprise Microsoft 365 Technical Specialist for Microsoft 365 activities for a global banking project, and work with the relevant engineers, specialists and teams across the technology departments. The Onsite Domain program is a multiyear project and will be delivering Microsoft 365 collaboration services to users across 2 different tenants.
You will have a very strong technical foundation, a strategic mind-set, great communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others in a truly global team.

The Microsoft 365 Technical Specialist will be responsible for engineering, testing, tooling and support model for collaboration between commercial and 21 Vianet tenants.

  • *Hands on* architect
  • Experience of B to B collaboration with Azure commercial and 21 Vianet tenants (China)
  • Sharepoint DLP experience
  • Banking experience preferred
  • Good communicator, confident, open & honest.
  • Enterprise Architecture in global banking
  • Regulatory & Compliance awareness - Ability to work in highly strucutred environment

Job Responsibilities

  • Writing up technical descriptions of config changes for Technical Change Management (TCM) submission from Development environment
  • Testing technical solutions in non-production environment ensuring 21 Vianet to commercial access for collaboration
  • Assisting internal security teams with controls to provide better security and governance
  • OneDrive and SharePoint Online Expertise
  • SPO/Teams - Office365 Groups
  • Office365 PowerShell experience
  • Office ProPlus
  • Defender and Purview expertise
  • Work with Microsoft to close feature parity with 21 Vianet and Commercial
  • O365 Mobile Productivity/Intune
  • Tenant config, Conditional access, eDiscovery, azure portal etc
  • Awareness of Azure Identity
  • Awareness of Azure Information Protection
  • Awareness of Data Loss Prevention
  • Awareness of Ping Federate
  • Awareness of Browser controls

Primary Skill:

  • Deep technical Skills and capable of serving as a SME across multiple (more than one of) the M365 technologies.
  • A minimum of 5 years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience delivering Office 365 solutions
  • A degree in computer sciences or another related area
  • Working knowledge of/familiarity with ITIL. Certification to ITIL Foundation level is a minimum
  • Working knowledge of/familiarity with Project Management principles. Certification to Prince 2 Foundation level or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Previous industry experience with multinational companies beneficial of significant scale

Desired Skills:

  • Experience of collaboration with Azure commercial and 21Vianet tenants (China)
  • Appreciation and experience of security, legal and regulatory/compliance controls required to move data into a cloud service, preferably from the finance sector
  • Experience working with regulatory, compliance and/or litigation group within the Financial Industry
  • Large Scale Migration Tooling/Automation/Process experience
  • Exchange, SharePoint and Teams
