C++ Modeller/Programmer (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: 50,000 - 70,000 - Market related
 

Our client, a prestigious world leading university are looking for a C++ programmer as part of a multi-disciplinary research team which is working in the development of a microsimulation models of the future health and economic impacts of health.

This role is unique in that you will be working closely with 2 universities and there will be travel between London & Italy (Milan) alongside remote working. You must be comfortable travelling and this will be expensed.

Salary: Circa 50,000 - 70,000 Euros + Benefits & travel expensed.

Location: London (Roughly 2 days a week) & Italy (infrequently)

Experience needed:

Experience of current & recent C++ releases in order to help to implement the existing code base of the model.

STEM related degree (ideally a Masters or PhD (nice to have)

Exposure to building micro-simulation models

Some of the main responsibilities that you would have include:

Leading the adaptation of microsimulation models

Supporting the design of pilot project assessments

Carrying out simulations to estimate the long term health and economic outcomes of selected pilot projects.

While ideally you would work from the office a couple days a week, the role offers a lot of flexibility and our client is happy to accommodate individual needs.
