Agile Delivery Lead - (Outside Of IR35) (Contract)

Location: Remote  Country: UK Rate: £500 (Outside Of IR35)
 

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead with a strong background in Government Digital Service (GDS) projects to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of digital projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring high-quality outcomes within specified timelines and budgets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project success and adherence to GDS standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital projects following Agile principles and GDS standards.
  2. Work closely with product owners, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  3. Establish and maintain effective Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  4. Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  5. Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project life cycle.
  6. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  7. Track and report on key project metrics, including budget, timeline, and quality, to stakeholders and senior management.
  8. Ensure compliance with GDS standards, guidelines, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
  9. Drive a user-centric approach to project delivery, incorporating user feedback and usability testing to iterate and improve digital products and services.
  10. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Agile delivery and GDS principles.
