Principal Application Software Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Cambridge Country: UK
 

Principal Application Software Engineer - SDLC, Degree, Node.js, £depending on experience + benefits, Cambridge/Hybrid

My client is a pioneering machine learning and artificial intelligence software house, they have developed some of the most advanced technologies, following this they are now highly regarded throughout the UK within the artificial intelligence domain. The team is comprised of some of the brightest minds in technology and lead by experienced entrepreneurs with a knack for producing award winning tech companies.

Why wouldn't you be interested?

The type of people we welcome the chance to speak with will possess at least several years within a commercial setting of managing/overseeing complex technical projects. First class communication skills with ability to adapt to various personalities within the software team.

Degree educated possessing a 2.1 or higher from a leading university in computer science, physics, natural sciences, astrophysics, engineering or something related, we are flexible on the subject here. Mathematically minded with natural problem solving abilities particularly on the engineering side of things.

Well versed in the full software development cycle from initial design right through to implementation, technologies that we are looking for include: node.js, Python, Java, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis and general engineering mindset.
Someone that has sound experience in leading a small team to success and enjoys mentoring more Junior members.
