Information Security Officer (Contract)

Location: City of London Country: UK
 

Information Security Officer - 100% Remote - contract flexible based upon experience.

Are you a seasoned Information Security Officer with a passion for safeguarding digital assets and ensuring robust security measures? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team in a fully remote capacity for a 12-month contract.

This is a fully remote role with occasional travel to London required once a month.

Please note:

Remote (need to be willing to travel to London around once a month) They are looking to have someone within Europe time zone, preferably in Western Europe so can consider candidates outside of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain comprehensive information security protocols to protect the company's assets.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively monitor for security breaches and respond swiftly to minimize impact.
  • Provide guidance and support to various teams within the organization on best practices for information security.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in information security consultancy or security office roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to London approximately once a month (remote work otherwise).
