Hamilton Barnes are representing a leading IT Solutions partner who is seeking a talented Automation Engineer experienced in Windows environments for an exciting remote opportunity. to join their team on a fully remote, 6-month contract basis. You will play a pivotal role in configuring, rolling out, and hardening on-premises infrastructure within a Windows environment. This position offers the flexibility of remote work for 6 months, outside IR35 regulations.
As a Microsoft Engineer, you will be required to have hands-on experience with Windows products in an engineering (On-Prem) environment, along with proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, and Terraform. Experience in building Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for Windows environments is essential for this role.
Key Requirements:
- Utilize automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Git to build Infrastructure as Code (IAC) within on-premises Windows environments
- Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks in on-premises settings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Solid experience working within Windows environments, with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in automation tools including Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Git.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles and methodologies.
Contract Details:
