Location: London Country: UK Rate: £90k - £95k per annum + bonus and benefits
 

Senior Java Software Engineer | LONDON | Hybrid | £90,000 - £95,000 pa plus bonus and benefits

Java/Spring Boot/AWS/Kafka/Event-based

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Java Engineer to work for a superb client based out of their London office on a hybrid basis/You will be a key member of the Java team and help the company drive their products to success.

If you are a proactive and experienced Senior Java Engineer with a passion for leading teams and contributing to broader development goals, then this is for you!

Experience:

  • Strong experience with Java with a focus on Spring Boot and core enterprise frameworks
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge and ideally hands-on experience with data streaming, event-based architectures and Kafka
  • Expertise in cloud development (ideally AWS) and container technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing projects and working with external third party teams
  • Ideally experience with Apache Spark or Apache Flink (but not essential)
