Senior Business/Data Analyst - Sql, Excel, Data Vis, Banking (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £550 - £650 per day
 

Senior Business/Data Analyst - SQL, Excel, Data Visualisation sought by leading investment bank based in Canary Wharf.

*Inside IR35 - 2-3 Days a week onsite*

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years Business Analysis experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Extensive SQL experience
  • Highly proficient in use of Excel for data analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce reports, documentation, and communicate with senior management.
  • Ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently

Beneficial skills:

  • Experience within an investment banking or financial services environment
  • Data Visualization experience
  • Experience in writing code in Python to automate processes
  • Hadoop/Big Data domain experience and exposure to Hive, Impala, and Spark ecosystem technologies
