Senior QA Automation Engineer Opportunity

£50,000 - £60,000
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new API tests in Java using REST Assured and Cucumber BDD
Assess new API features for automation inclusion
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines
Maintain and expand API Postman collections
Fix bugs, review code, and merge PRs for Java-based automation projects using Selenium, Appium, OpenCV, REST Assured, and Cucumber
Ensure automation suite reliability across diverse environments and countries
Manually validate failures and update scripts as needed
Log detailed defects and issues on Jira
Stay informed about business activities to anticipate test impact
Collaborate within an agile team for backlog refinement, sprint planning, story development, testing, demos, and retrospectives
Foster trustful relationships with stakeholders like product owners, developers, analysts, and operations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must be degree educated within an IT or Business-related field
Over 5 years of experience in Java development/support or Automation frameworks
4+ years in Automation testing using Java (Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, or API Automated testing)
2+ years in E-commerce projects, understanding order workflows, product catalogs, and payments
Strong communication skills for team alignment and client interaction
Proficient in Agile methodologies, meeting deadlines consistently
Solid grasp of enterprise infrastructure and application components
Familiarity with source code repositories like Git, Bitbucket, etc
