Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Security Architect with expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies to join our dynamic team. As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions, with a primary focus on Palo Alto Firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Palo Alto Firewalls, including SSL offload, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS), and layer 7 application-level security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage Palo Alto Firewall solutions to ensure the security of our network infrastructure.
2. Configure and optimize Palo Alto features such as SSL offload, DLP, IDPS, and layer 7 application-level security.
3. Deploy and manage Panorama for centralized management and monitoring of Palo Alto Firewall devices.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Palo Alto solutions within Azure cloud environments.
5. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network security, particularly related to Palo Alto technologies.
7. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Palo Alto technologies and best practices.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
2. Extensive experience (5+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto Firewall solutions.
3. In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto features such as SSL offload, DLP, IDPS, and layer 7 application-level security.
4. Hands-on experience with Panorama for centralized management of Palo Alto Firewall devices.
5. Familiarity with Azure cloud services and experience deploying Palo Alto solutions within Azure environments.
6. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
7. Relevant industry certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or Certified Network Security Architect (PCNSA).
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
