Senior Data Analyst - Pharma (Contract)
Location: England Country: UK Rate: £550 - £650 per day + Outside IR35
 

My client is a Data and Analytics Consultancy. They work with a number of leading Pharmaceutical clients in the UK. They are supporting their clients with compliance on data for regulatory submissions. They are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to source data from disparate sources so strong experience in SQL and Excel required.

The role:

  • Work with business & IT partners to understand the business and data requirements.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and perform data profiling.
  • Interpret data, analyze results and provide quick data analysis.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.
  • Build bus matrices, proof of concepts, source mapping document and raw source data model using Excel, Power BI or other Visualisation Tools
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, databases (Redshift, Oracle etc.) and programming languages (Python, R). Ability to write SQL queries to perform data profiling, data analysis and present the insights to the business.
  • Snowflake Experience required (bonus for Starburst experience)
  • Exposure to Datawarehousing and Datamodelling concepts.
  • Strong Exposure to IT Project Lifecycle
  • Finance/Life Science Domain experience
