Company Introduction

As an Optimisation (CRO) QA Test Engineer, you will be working in a fast-paced, ever evolving, fun and friendly cross-functional squad environment. You are the owner of the testing process and automation, ensuring the testing frameworks and approaches taken are reliable and assuring the high quality of the system. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and issues on newly developed experimentation campaigns as well as confirming the stability of established systems. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

You must understand the Experimentation mindset and the difference of CRO vs the standard software CI/CD, DevOps pipelines. You must have been working within an Agile (Kanban) and Angular stack environment. Nice to have any exposure to building and maintaining automated Front End/API test suites for enterprise applications with large numbers of concurrent users.

You will need manual software testing experience along with experience working with Javascript, HTML, CSS, Analytics, Audinences and an awareness of the security risks posed using some software engineering patterns.

Your focus will be on building short-term, robust and flexible tests cases and scenarios while balancing automation and manual exploratory testing to help to make the CRO squads' campaigns as risk-free as possible.

The role will involve proactiveness and thinking outside of the box to test the resilience and validity of the experiments which are about to be launch in concurrence with all live CRO tests.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

* Create test scenarios to validate experiments from a technical and user perspective
* Provide excellent 2nd and 3rd line support of escalated issues and taking corrective action.
* Drive the test (manual and automation where possible) processes, escalating issues to the senior management team.
* Ownership of multiple projects and be pro-active in managing them end to end.
* Contribute to the DevOps roadmap, using continual improvement to deliver best in class solutions
* Capacity management of all apps/services/tooling
* Sign off A/B, multivariant and personalisation campaigns on Analytics/Audience level
* Provide on call support for all P1 and P2 incidents.

Required Skills/Experience

* Understand the concept of AB testing and MVT
* Experience testing in a 'web' environment with Angular, Java, HTML, CSS, CMS's etc
* Experience testing Scripting in JS, Python, Ruby, Perl
* Experience with Jira, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, Jira Service Desk or similar tools
* Experience in securing apps/platforms/tooling
* Experience in multiple Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP etc.)
* Demonstrable experience of process automation
* Experience with Enterprise and open source monitoring tools such as Splunk/ELK, Truesight, Dynatrace etc
* Knowledge of network stacks, protocols and technologies.
* Proficient with Enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
