Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £525.00 - £575.00 per day

6 month contract - June 2024 start
Day Rate inside of IR35 circa £525 - £575
Fully Remote working - Candidates MUST be UK based
This role will see you working with a Global organisation where you will be responsible for providing full life cycle support to their internal Kubernetes platform (IKP), including provision, upgrade etc.
Develop tools and automations to manage platform infrastructure and services life cycle, improving reliability, quality, and time to perform IT changes.
Measure and optimize system performance and resource utilization, and plan for future capacity, building dashboards and visualizations to graph system health.
Expertise required:
. Solid knowledge with practical hands-on of Container and Kubernetes production support and surrounding ecosystems.
. Core competencies: Linux OS, Container, Kubernetes (Anthos) and Kubernetes components like Istio (Anthos Service Mesh), NGINX (as a Kubernetes Ingress Controller), Portworx (software-defined storage PVCs), ACM (Anthos Configuration Manager).
. Engineering skill set to manage infrastructure as code, using Shell languages (Bash), Python (preferred) or Golang, GitOps and pipeline.
. Experience with infrastructure support and operation automation following software life cycle practice.
