Technical Support Engineer (Permanent)
Location: North Yorkshire, England Country: UK Rate: £30k per year
The Bridge IT is excited to collaborate with a progressive and expanding company seeking to grow its IT support team.
While possessing technical prowess is vital, the company highly prioritise candidates eager to learn and advance in their technical careers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
In a 24/7 shift setting, you'll manage Technical Support, Supplier Relations, Monitoring, and Customer Correspondence. You'll expand your expertise across diverse technologies including Broadband, LAN/WAN Networking, Firewalls, VoIP, SD-Wan and WLAN networking.
The Technical Support Team handles the logging and resolution of all customer phone calls and emails outside of regular office hours. During office hours, this responsibility is undertaken by the Service Desk.
Given the nature of this role, you will work a rolling shift pattern, covering:
Two day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Two night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
. The above shift pattern would be followed by a 4 day rest period*
