Hardware Design Authority - Contract (Contract)
Location: Cambridge Country: UK Rate: £50 - 60 per hour

Are you enthusiastic about driving product development and electronics engineering? We're seeking a talented individual to lead a team in creating cutting-edge digital products and accessories. As a Hardware Design Authority, you'll be responsible for guiding the technical aspects of the projects, ensuring top-notch designs that align with the production objectives.

Rate and benefits:

  • £50 - £60 per hour outside IR35
  • 3 month contract with potential to be extended by another 3 months
  • On site in Cambridge

What we're seeking:

  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a similar capacity
  • A proactive individual with strong leadership skills in a diverse work environment
  • In-depth knowledge of product development life cycle principles
  • Extensive experience in electronics engineering for large-scale production
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to meet requirements
  • Proficiency in defining technical requirements and overseeing their implementation
  • Capacity to harmonize product development with organizational strategies

Extra points for:

  • Background in RF communications system development, audio equipment, or charging devices.
  • Familiarity with advanced communication technologies (eg, LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi)
  • Experience integrating electronics into challenging mechanical setups
  • Ability to coordinate with software development teams seamlessly
