An innovative company at the forefront of the aerospace industry, located in Filton is actively seeking a Skilled Aircraft Fitter to join its engineering team. The company is globally recognized for its innovation and contributions to the aviation industry.
You'll be joining the team within the Build Production section to work on various aircraft.
Job Duties:
- Adhere to engineering instructions and comprehend Aircraft Drawings.
- Execute tasks up to specified standards.
- Perform general tasks involving the use of power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing.
- Obtain 1st-party certification upon successful completion of relevant courses.
- Be prepared to work in confined spaces, including engaging in tank work, which may involve restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval-shaped manholes.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship.
- Possession of Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2, and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognized engineering field.
