About this role
Income Team Contractor reporting to the Income Accounting Team Lead. You will play a key role in the Global Accounting Centre Income Accounting function which comprises of a team of 21. The main objective of the role is to assist with the implementation of the finance data warehouse. Help drive process improvement and automation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform UAT testing in relation to applications being automated via the finance data warehouse platform. This involves using sequel scripts to extract data sets for comparison against existing processes.
- Document test results on the Dev Ops platform.
- Provide progress updates on planned testing during the regular touchpoints.
- Liaise closely with IT developers on testing and defects identified.
- Provide insightful analysis relating to variances identified in the data being used by Orbit when reviewed against the existing process.
- Assistance and support in response queries relating to the data warehouse.
- Responsible for performing parallel run testing on applications that have passed UAT and have moved into the production environment.
- Build relationships within the wider Income team, and across other regional teams
- Comply with Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention, but not limited to Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly.
