Head of Financial Planning and Analysis - Accounting, SaaS, SQL, Power BI, Excel, Financial Modelling,

I am working closely with a top FinTech company based in Central London who are looking for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to make the role their own.

You will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process, monitoring and reporting on organizational performance and finance partnering with the wider business.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the budget and forecast process
• Ownership of monthly budget to actuals variance analysis and commentary
• Maintenance/improvement of the budget/forecast model with input from Head FDA
• Ad hoc financial analysis and modelling of new projects and scenarios
• Treasury - monitoring cashflow position of business, ensure excess funds are gaining appropriate returns
• Investor reporting

Required skills, experience and qualifications required:

• Qualified accountant
• At least 2 years post qualification experience in a FP&A capacity, ideally in a leadership role
• Proven experience in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
• An inquisitive and analytical approach to finance data
• Advanced Excel financial modelling skills
• Experience using SQL to solve analysis problems
