OCI and JD Edwards CNC Consultant (Permanent)

Location: London, Birmingham, Manchester uk Country: UK Rate: Great salary + profit share + benefits. Opp to train into Oracle Cloud
 

Job Description

This role will be within our Managed Services team at Version 1. It is somewhat of a Hybrid role requiring the capability to support JDEdwards CNC and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Although the primary role will be within the managed service there will be opportunities to work on projects for both JDE and Oracle Cloud.
The candidate will be expected to be able to manage tickets within the managed service for various issues with key skills being the ability to resolve networking issues within Oracle cloud and manage JDE environments.

OCI Skills:

  • Ability to support Oracle cloud environments
  • Working with IPSec VPNs, Debugging network routing and network security group issues within OCI and user management and IAM policies with OCI.

JD Edwards CNC:
Able to maintain and support JDE environments with experience of:
Applying patches & bug fixes (ESUs).
Package build and deployment.
Regular system checks, performance monitoring & maintenance activities.
JDE upgrades and release updates.

Linux: Administrative skills such as creating user accounts and mounting block volumes, a candidate with basic Linux command line skills will still be considered with training being provided.

OIC: Experience working with Oracle Integration cloud, particularly provisioning and working with connectivity agents is nice to have.

Qualifications

Required:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2023 Architect Associate (1Z0-1072-23).

Desirable:
Oracle Certified CNC administrator.
Hashicorp Terraform Associate
Oracle Linux Certification
ITIL
