Senior Embedded Software/Systems Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Lancaster Country: UK Rate: £50k - £60k per annum + Benefits
 

Are you looking to work for a company who actively have an impact on our everyday lives, where you will be making a positive contribution within the Energy sector? Then I would love to talk to you about a fantastic client I am working with! The company are working on cutting edge technology within the energy sector and a disruptor to the market! My client is now expanding its R&D department and looking for a talented Embedded Software/Systems Engineer to join the team and be a part of their pioneering technology! You will be working alongside mechanical Engineers as well as scientists to make a positive impact for the future.

You will be based in their brand new facilities as their Senior Embedded Software/Systems Engineer and working through the full product life cycle through to manufacturing, with a company who are actively looking for your input and ideas to implement. You will be working with their battery technology and a product that is very ethically strong. As their Embedded Software/Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of Embedded Hardware/Software/Firmware and any experience of IOT/BMS would be advantageous!

Core skills for this role include:-

  • Embedded Software/Firmware Development

  • Assembly/RTOS
  • Any exposure/Experience of Software Architecture
  • Microcontrollers
  • Communication protocols UART SPI, I2C
  • Debugging
